Quotium Production analyses performance and detects database server anomalies in real time. Quotium Production lets you monitor the activities of a large number of database servers 24 hours a day, with real-time detection of any transactions that exceed the expected limits. Information pertaining to the detected anomalies is recorded in a catalogue for any necessary in-depth analysis, using a transaction optimization tool such as Quotium WorkBench.

Using the client interface, you can define multi-criteria monitoring rules in the form of performance thresholds. The parameters and operating information are stored in a central database that is shared by several clients. Quotium Production captures the type of anomaly as well as the context of the incident that occurred. It covers 13 types of anomaly, with 4 severity thresholds for each type.

The user may associate an SQL script or Shell script with each anomaly level. If the threshold is exceeded, Quotium Production automatically triggers the associated script. The advantage of this system is that it narrows the scope for troubleshooting and considerably speeds up the resolution phase for anomalies.
